Today’s Giggles…

This little guy sure makes me laugh.  Here is what I saw when I went in to get him after nap time.

Not sure where he was going, but he was sure working hard at it.

What has Joshua been up to today?

Not taking a nap… He discovered the baby monitor and decided to play with that instead

Learning how to open and empty out drawers…I just keep dish cloths in there and I figured there was no harm in letting him explore it.

Playing with the heat register… It makes fun music when you strum on it, and I recommend everyone do it from time to time.

So much fun... and more work

I love seeing Joshua more mobile, able to move around on his own and he sure loves exploring!  This morning he tipped over the garbage can...

 So I moved it to the other side of the room to at least slow him down a little bit, but he found it again...

He is also starting to work at pulling himself up on things...

 He sure keeps me busy, but I love this little guy!

Here a Nap, there a Nap…

Some Days Joshua just does not want to take a nap, but it’s clear that he needs one.  Here are some pictures of him falling asleep around the house.

Someone just learned how to pull himself up in the crib, I guess it’s time to lower to mattress!

“Sew” Fun.

I got some cute patterns for my birthday and decided I better sew one up quick while the weather was still cold so Joshua could wear it.

It was really fun, a little tricky to do the button holes since the fabric was so thick, but it turned out pretty good.

I think my little gentleman is ADORABLE!

Painting Time…

I was in the mood to play around with some watercolors and I thought Joshua might have some fun with it too.  I envisioned dipping his hand in the paint and putting hand prints all over the paper.

His method was much quicker!

DUMP!!  Good thing I covered the floor in plastic before we started.

Birthday Fun

Thanks everyone for your birthday wishes, we had a wonderful day (even if it did start at 2AM because Joshua has a stuffy nose and couldn’t sleep)
I celebrated with the Cleggs on Saturday and got a bike trailer from Andrew.  It’s a good thing I got it early so I could try it out a few times before this cold hit us.  I’m looking forward to warmer days when I can get a lot more use out of it.



Joshua and I visited my parents and grandparents yesterday but because he hadn’t slept well the night before we left so he could take a nap.  He was being fussy when I put him in the carseat so his cute cousin Lilly came over to give him kisses and cheered him right up.
