We survived our vacation! What a fun trip, both kids and parents had a wonderful time. We spent all day Monday getting ready for an early flight. I don’t think Olivia understood where we were going but she did know we were going on an airplane. She kept bringing me things to pack, “giraffe airplane”, “baby airplane”
When I told her we weren’t leaving yet, she put herself in bed at 6:30. She didn’t actually go to sleep then but when we did put the kids to bed they didn’t argue and keep getting up. It was a miracle.
We woke the kids up around 4:15, and as soon as they heard the word airplane, they were excited and fully awake.
And here are the kids keeping themselves entertained while Dad rented the car in Long Beach.
We spent the first day at Sea World. They were having a heat wave so it was over 90 degrees every day we were there, so the heat wore us out a bit but we were able to have a lot of fun.
They had a Sesame Street play area and the kids were in heaven. We visited there a few times.
Joshua went on the rides while Olivia got in a little snooze.
We were all pretty worn out and ready to call it a night after an early morning and going non-stop all day.

Looks like you had a lot of fun! I can't believe it was 90 degrees while you were there. I think we would have died. It was in the 70s while we were there and got pretty toasty from time to time. But glad you survived. :)
Look at those rosy cheeks! Looks like a lot of fun. Even if is was hot.
Your kids will have some fun memories of interesting places. Glad you got to go and have fun.
