Backyard Progress

We hauled in a ton (literally) of sand to lay under the pavers and get our new patio area ready for the gazebo.  My Dad and Theron were very helpful at shoveling and wheel barreling the sand to the backyard and Andrew’s Dad came and built the floor for the shed.  It made for a long day, but it’s nice to feel like we made some good progress.  Thanks for all the help, we could not have done it all ourselves.

Joshua helped by supervising and testing the sand. It met his approval.

He probably got a little too much sun the first day, so I made him a little sun hat for the second day.  It is reversible.  Plaid on one side and polka dots on the other.

It is looking really good. Isn't it nice to have family who are willing to put forth so much work to make something so wonderful for you? That sand looks like a lot of fun. Now it just needs to warm up a bit so we can go play at a beach :)
